After visiting many states throughout our travels, we realized that there was more to life than living around a freakin' stinkin' garbage dump! The smell, especially in the warm westerly winds, was just too much! The smell of Burger King by the then new mall combined with the smell from the dump, made even Jersey look good! But the clincher that really drove us out was...when they built the freakin' houses on top of that freakin' stinkin' dump, which later revealed buried Nathan hot dogs from 1962! Do I want my kids playing in the yard and potentially bringing home fresh dug dinner at the same time? I don't think so! Actually Staten Island was a great place to grow in, until the Verrazano Bridge was built! And then all those people who were trying to save their kids from Brooklyn and all its problems came over and moved into the freakin' houses on the freakin' stinkin' dump! Staten Islanders, wake up and smell the coffee. There is still hope, get out while you still can. There is so much more to see! And plenty of fresh air to smell.
