On Veterans Day (I'm not one) I watched the Blue Angels from Coit Tower as they performed between Treasure Island and the Golden Gate Bridge, along with biplanes, aerobatic prop planes and the like. Then, along comes a red jet, which an oldtimer pegs as a MIG-15. What a graceful, slick bird. Exactly what I spent a lot of classroom time in PS29 drawing in the margins of copy paper. Of course it was a MIG, and how natural it's painted Red. What other color would you paint a MIG after silver.
