i remember the game being played at weissglass in the 50's. there was a period when sal somma coached at curtis and they won every year. the first year he transferred to new dorp they started a streak. i don't remember how many years sal was the winning coach in a row, but i think the streak was stopped in 1959 when curtis upset new dorp who were city champs.
