SubTitle: Sights, Sounds, and Smells of the Boats and the Bay

Everyone associates Staten Islanders with the Ferry. But does the world know what the Ferry was really like? The smell of the salt water, the deep whistle, the bumping into the pilings at the dock, passing by the Statue of Liberty and Governor's Island, the fog, wind, and the cold in the winter? The coffe and hot dogs (with sauerkraut and mustard) on the coldest days? Seeing old friends, chatting with new ones? Seems to me we ought to tell the world what it's missing.
Ferryboats ahoy! Tell it like it is.
