Way to go, Bob Ponterio, PRHS graduate, Class of '50, posting on the Internet and keeping up with progress. You've got me beat by eight years and I thought I was doing something until I met ol' Blaine who's even older than me. I think anyone who uses the Internet and was born before the Bridge went up in '64 deserves a commendation for keeping up with the times. So now I'd like to ask, who's the oldest poster on this website. Seems to me there was a historian or naturalist who was about 95, but I haven't seen anything from him in awhile. I hope he's in good health and will check in again. My mother was a PRHS graduate, Class of '35. I used to look at her PRHS Yearbook, the photos and handwritten comments, and she'd tell me about her classmates. Later we'd meet them on Richmond Ave. Since I was a little kid, I'd get a pat on the head just for being there. Life in the small town, just across from the Big Apple. No wonder Islanders grow up schizophrenic. We do, don't we? I dunno, I'll ask myself.
