Most of my memories of "the Island" are because of my Uncle Bob (Colvin)
He is responsible for this memory too. The day the bridge opened,
he was taking me and my brother, Kenneth, for a ride, as he always did,
and we drove to "the Bridge" and were planning on getting off at the last
exit, but he said, Oh, why not? and we went over it. Quite exciting, and
I always tell everyone I know, I went over it that first day!
