Bob: I sure do remember that structure! Your dive ranks alongside of Charlie's 3rd rail trick as one of the craziest! I remember my father telling me that one of the men he worked with on the piers... Buddy (?) was known as one of the best divers on the North Shore and that was his stunt...diving off that scaffolding. However, I think when he did it (the 40's) the water was considerably cleaner. I can remember fishing for stripers at night in the winter off that pier, that's the coldest I've ever been in my life...DAN
