John: of course you're right! I went thru ET school on Treasure Island from Feb60-June60 (somewhere in there). That was after boot camp in San Diego. Do you remember the "Gold Spike" restaurant that I asked Bob Sheridan about in one of these episodes? That was the only place I knew of in San Francisco where us "underage" sailors could get served. This was hard to swallow for guys from NY who had been hanging out in bars legally since they were 18!...DAN
