On June 10, Tottenville resident Carmine A. Morano was elected president of Anthem Health & Life Insurance Company of New York (headquartered on South Avenue). Morano's been in insurance 20 years, was formerly senior VP of The Anthem Health Companies, owned by Anthem, Inc. of Indianapolis.
