Well, believe it or not, when I was your age, I made a bunch of friends (some of whom are still good friends) while commuting to work in Manhattan. Its pretty easy to strike up a conversation while waiting for a bus/train/boat and you tend to see the same people each day. This time of year is the best time for meeting people. They spend alot of time outside! Check out your neighbors, go the a park or the beach, scout out someone about your age, sit yourself down and strike up a conversation. Good Luck!!!
