Actually, Joe, my answer was mostly "tongue in cheek", however ... #1) I DO know what it takes to run a business! ... #2) I CAN and others most certainly CAN comment intelligently on something even though I/they do not participate in the activity. ... #3) It does not surprise me that Italians run most of the big deli's, but would you not say that our Arab and Indian brothers & sisters own and operate most "food shop" businesses? If I am wrong, then I stand corrected.
Finally, if you are indeed a small business owner, I respect you for your willingness to take a big chance in life ($$$), work an average of 12 to 15 hours a day (one statistical survey report I viewed), and not realizing a penny of profit until probably your 3rd or 4th year in business? Correct?
