Not just the greatest singer -- the greatest all around entertainer. I saw him at Carnegie Hall in 1980 (or '81) and even though he wasn't in his prime, he put on such a show. I felt like were sitting in someone's living room around a piano and he was just singing and talking -- "hanging out". I am officially in mourning.
