That is just a metaphor. Unless you have gills, you are also a foreigner to "the undersea world." Most humans only experience the dry mostly flat parts of the world.

If we consider this the only world, then we are like the Flat Earth People who denied the existence of the "New World" ie the Western Hemisphere. Strangely, the Flat Earth People believed in the existence of the "Under World." Is that where you are from, my friend?

I hope you can see that the word "World" has more uses than does "Earth." I did not say I was a foreigner to Earth. "You may very well say that, but I must not comment."
