I'm assisting my son in obtaining historic information on Miller Airfield (now known as New Dorp's Gateway Park).

I would appreciate any information or older memories you may have.

I've heard their was a terible plane crash there many years ago.

As a child in the the 60's I recall military parachute exercises and even remember finding bullet shells.

I would appreciate any information.
