Dan, thanks for your reply. I was in the old neighborhood in 1992 and very little has changed. My brother, David Weiser, was Curtis 61. You're right about the Lutheran church - I think there was a fire which destroyed the roof in the first place. As for sleigh riding in Silver Lake park - my brother was allowed to go, but not me!! Talk about sxxism!! And we couldn't even sue our parents in those days ..I don't know Blaine & Noonan's, but I do remember the "Club 666" at 666 Forest (at Pelton?). Not to mention Demyan's Hofbrau -- wild scene there around 1965-66. Fun to travel back in time & imagination,Sylvia
