When I went to PHRS Mr. LaHuta's speech and discussion course was one of the only AP courses and I was one of 53 out of 575 graduates to go to college. While I am very grateful for those teachers who lifted me out of what could have been a tailspin, there were situations related to crowding that lead to violence and fear. Every day some big guy named "Red" would chose someone (whose face he did not like) to beat up.
