Yo Dude! Don't let anyone tell you what type of dog to get!! What's right for them may not suit you & your family. I suggest that you go to a few Dog Shows, pet the dogs, get to know them & talk to the owners who are more than happy to talk about their dogs & answer any of your questions about the dogs characteristics, abilities,& needs. Also get a copy of Dog World magazine, in the back there should be a list of upcomming shows. Good Luck finding your dog!! Jeff
