As much as our forefathers did their best to look into the future and wrote the Declaration, Consitution, and Bill of Rights accordingly, I don't believe that they anticipated the gun situation as it is today. No one is advocating total abolishment of firearms, just stricter control. If you are a solid citizen, is it really such an inconvenience to wait 7 to 10 days while you are "checked out" for a criminal record? I don't believe hunting is a sport, however I know there are many who do. Do you need a semi-automatic weapon to hunt? The NRA and their supporters should think before they speak and realize nobody wants to take their guns away, we just want them away from criminals and children.
