Thanks for coming back gently. I do want to point out that, although my parents fit the 'alcoholic' label, they were there for me and did a lot of good parenting when it was important; and, the StatNislanders (People like Mr. Kacsur, Miss O'Dowd, Mr. Driscoll, Mr. LaHuta and others) I posted, whose names make me choke up just thinking about them, gave me a lot of what I needed to have the strength and confidence to be where I am now. It really does take a village! And StatNisland was my village!!!!! And, the Gathering is Now my place to let it out whenever necessary.
