I was a lapsed catholic and tried a few different churches including Son Rise. I finally settled on OLGC the only augustinian parish on Staten Island. On Victory Blvd. near Forest Avenue. Take a trip there one Sunday and feel the spirit of the lord in his people. The priests are wonderful, they are not all fire and brimstone as in days of old. They are compassionate, caring and well informed individuals. Your can't help but catch the spirit. Try it - you might go back like I did.
