I also have a bad history with Chase. After finally selling my co-op apt in the Fountains, I thought I had finally gotten rid of them. They were very uncooperative in a time of distress for me and my husband. We were paying two mortgages for 2 1/2 years. Now, the bank holding the mortgage to my house has sold me to, guess who? Chase. And, I can't get them on the phone, I was on hold for 55 minutes and I finally had to hang up. So, a word from someone who's been there once and is back there again, take your business elsewhere. And even if you do go elsewhere, there's no guarantee. Good luck.
