You got me babe! I was 'trying' to divert the flow. Real Soul never dies like you said. The sweet soul motown was selling in the late 60's isn't around any more but there is more soul coming from more directions today for me to be correct in say "Soul died." My daughter was right when she said "Dad, don't TRY to be funny." And, yes I had all those things. When I went off to medical school I almost blew a gasket when my mother pitched my 45's. I had everything from 1954 - 1966. "Whole lotta shakin goin on!" We still play albums on our turntable for a "Historical Perspective." Imagine, one of my nephews friends saw me dance with my sister at the nephews wedding and asked me to show him the steps for a "Historical Perspective." YOUTH like SOUL never dies if you use it. We are the REAL thing lets boogie.
