Yes. I have been in your store many times when I was at PRHS. I drove down (Port) Richmond Avenue several years ago during my first visit to NY after my mother died (she died in 1987). I think the visit was around 1989. It did look different to me. But not so much that my memories were erased.
Do you remember Garber Brothers? In one of my other responses I mentioned that I found a round coin like key chain ornament with the letters GB and a number embossed in it. After puzzling about it for a while I remembered that GB was Garber Brothers. My mother used to love to drag me along when she shopped there. I used to try to distract her from seeing if there were any new hats. She especially liked the hats at that shop.
