Thanks for your understanding on the Parking Lot issue. I am not exagerating If you come into this street it is more a Threat for the proposed Facilty. The parking lot holds over 100 cars. Its tremendous. Keep in mind the proposed home is RIGHT THERE !!!! The house is located on the corner and the Backyard is basically this Parking lot.
At our last Community board meeting , a little statement stuck in my head : Staten Island Constantly gets DUMPED on. We had no say in the City Providing this Parking lot in the back of our homes. Yes we have put in complaints on the Boarding house across the street. Keep in mind this Block is not like the Average Dead end street, Its basically BOXED in.
Another thing that was not mentioned, SNOW ( well thank god we had 2 great years ) this block gets Plowed three - four days after everyone else. And this is with many calls and made to the Sanitation Dept. BUT the City makes sure the Parking Lot gets plowed and they leave our little street alone.
Yes we HOPE and Pray that the block will be looked upon and we will do everything we can to help / avoid problems for this proposed home. Tom is not against the Mentally Challenged, he like all the residents on this block show concern , for the saftey of our children , and the well being of the proposed home.
Thanks for your understanding, And yes hopefully we can get A.H.R.C on our side to get this block looked after for everyones sake.
Thanks Again
