I have to admit that the appearance of this "group home" issue on these pages caused me to react with a feeding frenzie. I had been ego tripping about my commitment to fighting prejudice all over this site when IT appeared. Old Timer gently reminded me that there are kinder gentler ways to approach these frightened people, but the trigger had already clicked.
There is a song from the musical Shenendoah (sung by an Anderson) that has the following lyrics. "Next to lovin, I like fighting. I like fighting, It's excitin. I like fightin best."
