we moved to this area because it was quiet and isolated. We would welcome and family with
many mentally challenged individuals. But a buisness we DO NOT WANT......we do not
want to expose our childen to constantly changing employees and visitors....!!!!!!!!!
we moved to Staten Island because we are loners & thought we could stay isolated from the world. We would welcome a family with many mentally challenged individuals because they would be whisked out of the neighborhood early every morning to special schools/training facilities and return after dark so we wouldn't have to see them around "the hood" too much, reminding us of our own imperfections. Multi-family homes, sharing homes & roommate situations & home based business that produce income & increase life style are ok...because MY NEIGHBORS WILL NEVER KNOW. If an individual family buys a home in my "hood", who cares where their money comes from or what their background is, as long as they can pay the price and I'm sure they won't make too much noise or have many visitors cause I'll call the police under an anonymous name & make them so uncomfortable they'll move out.

Does any one understand what is going on here !!!!! this Organization is moving in on a
community, The East Tenafly Avenue Block Association has a right to oppose this. This
organization has tried quietlt sneak in and take over. They are in conjuction with the
O.M.R.D.D....do you know why? well its because the state org would have to go through
more red tape and that would take more time. Look at what this block Association is
after....The well being of there community.....is that wrong to be concerned about there
children......think about it and get a grip.....
I will be at the meeting on tuesday and Protest to help this block organization.......I VOTE NO !!!!!!!!!! Keep Fighting East Tenafly
I choose not to understand & I want my neighborhood to be perfect in the way I choose to paint the picture. Get behind me in my opposition or you won't be in my picture. In my genetic tool box I have a grip on what I think creating the "perfect human being & environment" is all about. I love the "red tape" system & would never take a risk to challenge it. The well being of the community & society hereafter is based soley on what this block thinks. I am never wrong and know what's best for ALL CHILDREN & want to keep them totally "clad in rose colored blinders" so they never really see what humanity is all about. I'll knock your lights out if you don't join my "grip & gripe patrol" so I can continue to paint my perfect little picture of what I think the world is all about.
