Well I lived in CB 3 and they are a tough bunch so I don't think you have to worry too much. What is wrong with people, you don't want nursing homes near you, don't want funeral homes, what are these people going to corrupt??? I wasn't going to post here because of ignorance. But I do want to say that everyone is entitled to their opinion just as everyone is entitled to live anywhere they want. Gosh do you think we wanted that bridge to go up??? I worked for an orgaization that ran community residence's. They are Spectacular, the residents don't posse any threat to persons. If any trouble does happen that individual is dealt with as any other "normal" person. One resident used to help the elderly neighbors shovel the snow. Believe me the Community Residence was the cleanest house on the block. These are people with minds... get with the stream Main Stream that is... my son participated in main stream rec programs with children his own age with autism downs syndrome retardation ADD I feel that experiance was as adventageous to him as it was for the participants. I would be proud to be part of a community that was all inclusive. Please don't post that annoying statement under my post too... with the reason you moved here... I was born and raised on SI and not too far off from there... Live and let live...
