It seems a little unfair to assail these people as being against all those with disabilities. The point they seem to be making is that they don't want a group home of any type--I suspect it would be no different if a group home (apartment-type house) were proposed. Don't go making this an issue necessarily about disabilities when that may in fact not be the main issue. Yes, it may be "small-block" mentality, but that's obviously the allure that brought these people to that block in the first place. Is it so wrong to want to keep a "way of life"?
