Funny, I thought I'd get around to Charley Kraemer and his dog-eat-dog world. If the blonde on the ferry smiled at him, we didn't get the pop-quiz.
I never had Hackman, although I can picture him, and never heard the "barefoot up to here" quip. Prof. Kraemer had it's equal, though, about the blonde, no doubt; it went "She didn't have much upstairs, but b o y, what a staircase.
You can see why they called it a liberal arts education. Think I got a BA in BS. -r
