Shame to all of you for not allowing these individuals to have a home enviornment to call their own. This is well controlled by responsible adults. They teach the slower ones to cook and shop and find their way in life so as not to have to be so dependent on regimention. Read the postings about Willowbrook and put yourself in the position of being in the shoes of an individual who could be able to help himself being stored ? for life in such a place. We have a couple of these homes in our town and never have we had a complaint of the neighborhood children being corrupted in any way. In fact it is a learning process for them also. When I grew up on Staten Island any chiild with a learning disability or mongolism as it was then called was hidden from view. They were not taught and never did learn to do for themselves. We have come so far and should be willing to accept the changes. Shame on you agaom/
