Does anyone remember the SkyRaiders Model Airplane Club? They used to meet at the Staten Island YMCA in the 1950's and early 60's. Instead of just being a bunch of guys that were just obsessed with techno stuff, this bunch used to do cool social stuff like sponsor dances and sock hops in the "Y" social room. If Bobby Rattigan or any of the now "Older" SkyRaiders are still around, I would enjoy chatting with them. It's funny, I was reminded of the name recently by the name of our SCUBA club. We are called the "Ocean Rovers." Well, it is a little bit similar. ;-)
