Art, I also attended Wagner ('62) and might have had some of the same perfessors, particularly in philosophy. I remember the Faith 'n Life week, too. Let's see, Nikander for Intro, and Comparative Religion; Arne Unjhem for Logic, and another man whose name is not coming to me who was good. I've kept the Werkmeister Logic book thinking this was the tool to clear thinking, and debunking fallacious thinking. It has an introduction to Boolean logic which I always thought was from Mars, until, naturally, doing a Boolean search on the computer came along decades later. Don't think I've ever won an argument based on logic alone. Logic plus politics, maybe but not logic alone. In law school they teach Holmes's dictum: "The life of the law is experience, not logic." Experience includes politics, I think. -r
Art, you must remember that philosophy professors name; big guy, wavy hair, big teeth.
