I agree attitude counts, definitely, and there are many Americans of
Italian heritage in the US, about 25 million or so. - mostly in the big
cities. 2,000 in Nebraska. I will also be one of those that are proud
to express their Heritage. I think that is what makes this country
so different from anywhere else. My wife is Colombian - I went to
Colombia but saw a great bunch of people. thru the whole country alll
the customs were the same, the food the same, etc. no ethnic neighbor
hoods, noo variety. I would guess that you are an nnTH generation AMerican.
But that is OK too. because like all Italian AMericans, we are american
first - as proven in WWII. Which reminds me of all the injustice that
take place. Internment of italians (germans too) etc., do you know about this, my
grandfather did. check this R. Lazio (US congressman) site
out regarding internment of Italians. let me know your opinion.
