Kenny Betros was in my brother's class. His teachers would have called him Warren Reeves, tho he was Hop to friends and family.
Remember across from the Ltl League field was some sort of ... what, bird refuge? Don't know what it was called, but do remember one could spend something large like 10 cents and get corn to feed the peacocks that were in large cages. Went there on at least one school trip. Free and open and am sure I went there with my brother, too. You?
Don't even know the name Lois Moffat. My class had 3 divisions; there were about 120 of us. I remember, year after year in Sept., hearing the teacher groan as she looked out at this vast sea of faces. Now classes are half that size.
