Does anyone know the laws regarding adoption from 1950-1954 in New York?
Ronnie Lee was adobted by a couple in Bklyn. NY. during that time...both
have passed on in recent years & she found out she was adopted after
her adoptive parents died...can't find any information from family
members and could really use some help to locate natural parent or
parent...has been told she may have a brother who was also given up
for adoption... Ronnie has been told records from 1950-1954 can not
be unsealed and it is causing tremendous emotional stress...please can
anyone e-mail us information about how these records can be opened so
Ronnie can try & find her roots and move on with her life.
Info. she has: Mother was from Wicklow Ireland
Ronnie's birth name Ronnie Lee
Adoptive parents Lou & Emma Feuer, Bklyn. New York
Has been told her real father was a merchant & had
a shop of some kind on Nostrand Ave. and may be German
