Louie Eib's farm: wherever the grammar school was in Concord PS(?)
(also called the "Ralph Waldo Emerson school), if you went down that
street towards the East (Hen "Mush" Salig) lived on the corner, you
would see Louie Eib's farm on the left side, just before you went
down a little dip that had Eib's pond by it. The back of Eib's
pond was the old "Fox Hills" golf course and later during WWII
army post. Louie's cows used to wander into our backyard...we lived
for a while on Vanderbilt Avenue, just where it made a "Y" with
another street... Targee?. I think the hill in back of Eib's
pond was called "Nanny Goat Hill".
