Anyone out there remember "The Horsefield"? Located at the top of Harold St. & Lenzie St. (back then it was considered Eltingville - now it's Annadale). We used to have a lot of fun softball games. (Arden Ave. kids against Bathgate St..)- smoke bombs being thrown in the outfields, great location for sleighriding. Now I go back and see mansions. I don't think people believe me when I say I had frogs, turtles and salamanders in my backyard while growing up in the 60 - 70's.
