I will be visiting Staten Island in a couple of weeks and would like to rent a car for the day to get around. Can anyone recommend someplace on the island where I could rent a car cheap(around $30)for one day? I called Enterprise and SI Rent-a-Car, but they both want about $50 for the day. We'll be newlyweds on a budget, so we'd like to try to save some bucks. And it would be easier than taking public transportation all over. How much are the local buses now? What about the Express buses? Does anyone know the number of the local bus that runs from the ferry to Willowbrook (Forest Hill Road)? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
