There is something seriously wrong here! I can't get in the chat room! I have Netscape 3.0 so it's not that. Any ideas? All I get is the "front" page.

If you are having trouble accessing the Chat, there could be a number of reasons:

• Wait Time: 30 to 90 seconds
  • You may not have waited long enough! The first time you enter the Chat, it takes anywhere from 30 to 90 seconds after loading the page for the Java application to load (depending on your system) - When the grey box first appears move your mouse over the center of the box and keep an eye on your browser's status bar (usually in the bottom right corner of the window). If it doesn't report an error, try waiting atleast a minute before giving up!

• Browsers & Alternatives
  • If you don't see the large grey box, chances are your browser does not have Java enabled and you probably will not be able to access the Chat
  • Alternatives: you can also use IRC software to enter the Chat Center (address:   irc.chadmarc.com)
• System Resources / Memory
  • Your system may be running out of free memory, in which case it will either require a longer wait before the chat console will finish loading, or it may not be able to load at all.
• Company Firewall
  • If you are using an office network, it may have a "firewall" that prevents access to anything other than standard web pages - see your network administrator for details
