Congratulations for knowing the names of Father Vincent Capodano and Joseph Merrell. There were two other recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor who entered the service from Staten Island. They were: Theodore W. Grieg 2nd Lieutenant, 61st N.Y. Infantry for actions on September 17, 1862 at Antietam, Maryland; and Joseph Keele, Sgt. Major, 182nd N.Y. Infantry for actions on May 23, 1864 at North Anna River, Virginia.
