Posted by The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation DEADLINE FAST APPROACHING! Attention Cyberkids and Cyberteens!

Enter Our First Annual Random Acts of Kindness Essay Contest.

Students ages 9 to 17 are invited to submit a short essay on one of the following topics:

A) Nominate a local "hero" and describe why that person is a hero to you.

B) Tell us how kindness can counterbalance violence in today's society. The contest deadline is June 30, 1997.

Essay finalists will be published anonymously at our website from July 15 to November 1, 1997 during which, visitors to the website will vote for their favorite essays.

Winners will be announced on the Web site by November 21, 1997.
