Wasn't there an Elks Club in a big old house across from Deppe's. Back in the late 40's the Fairway Club was one of the hot spots. It was owned by Mrs. Fitzgerald .Other places to cruise were the Blue Hour, Clover Club,The Dutchman and the Tavern on the Green.
