You're right Mimi - and they call that progress :( unfortunately mans progress is often times natures and old homes loss. The building & zoning on Staten Island has needed a revamp for yearsssssssssss When you fly & get a good view from the air of this country you get to see how much s p a c e is available across this great land of ours.
Seems like many of us like to stay huddled close to the "Left & Right Coast" for some kind of crazy convenience reason. It will become more jammed packed as years go by unless ya can stiffin uP the building codes & get the builders out of town by relocating them more inland, insisting that they s p r e a d things w a y out.
