Don't guess you saw the note I just posted re my uncle was a shoshiner on the boats in the 30's and 40's and when he passed away the only item I asked for was his shine kit which I still use to this day.
I haven't been on line for a few days so I'm playing catchup tonight and just read your post. How ironic
